I fought for the bayo on e-bay, it has all the markings on it as well. Now I am trying to hunt up an original sling and "tobacco" can cleaning kit. How does yours shoot and what ammo are you feeding...

Hey Dibs. Came out nice with just the tung oil. Mine was showing the red layers also. I am using a thinned down wood bleach and steel wool between coats. Trying to get a bit lighter look in the wood....

Well, all done for now. She is still the same, just a few shades lighter. A couple more tung oilings and I may be satisfied. I am overall pretty pleased with the way it turned out.
